Do you think I should even bother going dongdaemun to shop since many say it's way too overpriced?
ddm has this wholesale place, if you go with the right people and don't mind owning the same clothes, it'll be a fun experience. but if you go there during f/w, the clothes are all knit and thick.if you're looking at the miligore, hello apm malls, they're not any cheaper than hongdae / edae. so it depends on what you can find? different experiences for different people i guess. i'd just leave my money for the branded stuff 😏
i was planning on visiting korea soon but wasnt sure how much to budget on the entire trip (including accommodation, flight etc)
hmmm I kinda let loose when it came to shopping but my friend had a tighter budget than me. so based on her spending:
flight via singapore airlines (early bird special) - SGD 770lodging for 12 nights on airbnb - SGD 600 (it’s affordable but there are much cheaper options i guess)
total expenditure on food, shopping, sight-seeing stuff (including train tickets, etc): 1mil krw.
she didn’t buy a lot of clothes. so if you want to base it on how I spent including 87mm, low classic, gentle monster, it was about 2mil krw.
i think setting aside 500~600k won for a two-week stay can get you pretty awesome meals. including lovely cuts of black pork, we also had lobster rolls.
I spent about 4k while my friend probably about 2.5k? we had a fair bit of miscellaneous spending bc we went for a music fest and headed out to busan as well.
I'm kinda confused and lost,, sorry to disturb you but where's sobok near? (:
uhhhhhhh.... walk to where sangsangmadang and the su luxury noraebang (?) are. and in the middle of it all is some unruly parking space. it's on the same side as tom n tom's (which is opposite the places above). you need to cross the road and keep walking straight. you'll see it after a few shops. if you walk towards haha's restaurant then it's kinda going towards hapjeong / the wrong way.if it's confusing, let me know hahahahha
the time we went to butterfinger pancakes. ok it was so good we went there twice.
Mind sharing your kor itinerary? (": thank you
