Final thoughts on Koh Kradan

We stayed a total of 4 nights at Paradise Lost on Koh Kradan and loved every minute of it. Since it was low season we really felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. The islands in the eastern Gulf of Thailand that I visited (Koh Tao and Nangyuan) were certainly beautiful, but there was something very special about Kradan since it is so isolated and undeveloped. It really felt like we were on a deserted island that was mostly dense jungle. It may not be ideal for everyone but for us it was our perfect paradise!

Our days were spent swimming, kayaking, and snorkeling on the reef off the southern part of the island. Saw tons of fish and pretty coral. We recently bought an underwater housing for our digital camera so it was fun to test that out.

During low tide the sea receded quite a lot to expose an amazing sandbar. It was like we were walking out into the middle of the ocean!

Next we will be heading over to Koh Muk which is another one of the Trang Islands.
