Headcanon: Ram Ma'am is Half-Rock Person

This is to explain and expand on the headcanon built by @why-must-a-blog-be-named @forestfairyunicorn and myself that Ram Ma'am from the CGI MotU is half Rock Person. The original thread can be found [ here ].

Who are the Rock People?

The Rock People are a race of mineral based organisms native to a planet called Geolon. Their basic body shape resembles humans, except that they also have an exo-suit like armor that resembles rock. When they curl up, their rock eco-suit locks around them, making them resemble boulders.

Rock people also come in a variety of colors that are likely based on the minerals within the rocks of the area they grew up.

What does this have to do with Ram Ma'am?

Ever since before the CGI show dropped on Netflix, when it was revealed that Ram Man was going to be "Ram Ma'am" in the new show, its been a popular fan theory that Ram Ma'am is the daughter of the original Ram Man. This headcanon builds on that.

Ram Man, Krass Sr., is one of Ram Ma'am, Krastine's parents. But her other parent was a Rock Person.

That sounds dumb, Ram Ma'am is obviously human!

Is she though?

The Rock people come in a variety of colors much more diverse than humans, and Ram Ma'am's skin tone is just noticeable too bright a pink to be a normal human color.

@southernpeach13 has also remarked that her hair looks a little more chunky and solid compared to the other characters' hair, and those pink streaks in the teal look a little too defined to be the result of a bad dye-job. It could instead be a mineral vein.

Also, let's talk powers!

Ram Ma'am's main power is curling up, turning into a ball, and ramming things. Exactly the same power the Rock People have.

The way the Grayskull Wiki describes it, Rock People turn themselves into meteors.

And what is Ram Ma'am's Master symbol?

Looks like a meteor to me!

I'm not saying that the writers intended to make her half-Rock Person, I honestly don't think its that deep. But, her being half-Rock Person seems to me to fit really well and I like the idea of not everyone on the hero team being human. So I'm gonna roll with it.

This is my headcanon until proven otherwise!

Ram Ma'am, Krastine is the daughter of the original Ram Man, Krass Sr. and an as-of-yet unnamed Rock Person.

Did Ram-man actually had a wife in 200X? I might have been in the elementary school when the episodes first aired, but I don't recall him being married.

Ram Man had zero (0) character development in 200X. We don't know if he had a wife, a husband, one of each, children, parents, siblings, aunts or uncles, cousins, or even just friends outside of the Masters.

A lot of the supporting cast was like that. If you weren't Adam, Teela, Man-at-Arms, or Skeletor you didn't get any backstory or development. They tried with Zodak and Evil-Lyn, but then the series was cancelled and neither character arc was completed.

So, I like to headcanon that Ram Man had friends outside the Masters that he went to when he wasn't in an episode. Maybe he did have a spouse of some kind that we just never saw. Who knows? The writers did care about him enough to come up with anything, so its up to us to decide!

The other masters in visible pain watching Krass eating a solid gem like it’s candy

Krass, looking up oblivious to their discomfort: "You guys want some? The quartz is a little bland, but the zoisite is spicy!"

Headcanon: Rock people have annual periods as they mature where they shed material as sand

Krass is embarrassed by this because it’s basically a yearly puberty cycle

Adam is a little uncomfortable when he has to explain to Teela and Duncan why there is so much pink sand in the castle

I like this one too, but I wouldn't call it a "puberty" cycle. It sounds to me more like reptiles having to shed their skins. All just part of her body growing and getting bigger, not necessarily shifting from child to adult.

Also, as the pseudo-parent, I think it should be Cringer's job to explain it to the others. Just sayin'.

Ok real heartbreaker, 2002 Ram Mans wife looks similar to Krass's mom

Ever since it was announced that Ram Man was going to be "Ram Ma'am" in the new series, I've already been headcanoning Ram Man as Ram Ma'am's father. So when I read this Ask I was like, "yeah! his wife better be his daughter's mom!"
