London Grammar has been compared to Florence and the Machine and the XX among others. While they would certainly make a great match for touring, this new trio brings an even more haunting and mature sound than its predecessors. Hannah Reid's vocals are rich and deep without the same pomp and circumstance of Flo's. The subtle guitar and piano provide the perfect accompaniments to deliver the heavy emotion so beautifully conveyed by Reid. Listen to their beautiful cover of Nightcall, which you may not recognize at first - it's by Kravinsky and is part of the soundtrack for 80s style Ryan Gosling flick, Drive. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4nPWZT1QCd4
