Stiles: You guys need to be socialized more. Jesus Christ. What is in those Hale genes?
Malia: More like, what’s in those Hale jeans, amirite?
*Malia and Derek high five*
Stiles: I’ve been in both of your jeans. I already know that
Peter: I’m feeling left out
Malia and Derek: NO PETER. BAD PETER
Stiles *breaking the fourth wall*: See what I mean?
it's really sad to think about that male characters in media will always get grace and sympathy and be consistently praised for being "such a well written character" when he's done some fucked up things and people will brush it aside because He's Traumatized and He's A Flawed And Interesting Character. but female characters who can also be flawed and interesting and have gone through their own traumas that would explain their behavior, but once they do something the audience wouldn't like, they turn on her. and that she's Pure Evil or She's Annoying and that she doesn't deserve any sympathy to the point where they're wishing her to die. and it really shows that a female character would be loved by the fandom if she was a guy. and that a male character would be hated if he was a girl. and that's not even that far off reach! because it's true!

Let’s call this part 1 of my petition to get Teen Wolf an animated series ;)
Part 0 was a test of concept. But I’m not sure what these are, they’re like a combination between storyboard, beat board, color script, and comic? I just wanted to do a color study and write a fanfic and this seemed like the easiest route 🤷♀️ I don’t have a name for the fic yet but I’ll let y’all know when I do.
Anyways, this is what my brain rot produces, enjoy!

Hold it together ~ McCall Pack
Summary: With everything going on recently, you had done your best to keep it together. But fighting the supernatural and dealing with a biology exam was never a good mix.
Warnings: Possible language, reader is autistic, protective!Scott, protective!Stiles.
A/N: I understand that everyone with autism behaves and acts in different ways, so please don't tell me that this isn't how someone with autism acts.
You kept telling yourself you weren’t going to break.
Not today. Not after everything that had happened.
You’d fought a creature you didn’t even have a name for, sprinted across half the preserve, and then sat through a full day of school pretending you weren’t exhausted, overstimulated, and one wrong nudge away from falling apart.
And now you were standing in the middle of Scott's living room, backpack half-unzipped, books spilling out, hands shaking just enough for Scott to notice.
He approached quietly.
“You’re really overwhelmed,” he said, not asking - just knowing.
“I’m fine,” you insisted, even though the words tasted like a lie. “I have to study. My biology exam is tomorrow and-”
Stiles stepped into your line of sight, eyebrows drawn tight with worry. “Hey, hey- slow down. You’re talking too fast.”
“I’m fine,” you repeated, louder this time, like volume could turn panic into truth.
But then Lydia closed the front door a little too firmly, and the sound cracked through the room like lightning. Liam cursed. Malia rummaged through the fridge. Someone’s phone buzzed. The lights hummed overhead.
And suddenly everything was wrong - too loud, too bright, too close.
Your breath stuttered. Your hands flew to your ears. The room tilted.
Scott was there instantly, voice soft but firm - alpha calm.
“Everyone. Quiet.”
The effect was immediate; the whole pack froze, their attention snapping to you with concern.
Stiles stepped closer, palms open. “You’re overloaded, aren’t you?”
You tried to answer but couldn’t get words past the tightness in your throat. You hated this. Hated feeling like you were falling apart in front of everyone.
Scott guided you to sit on the couch, movements slow and careful.
“You’re safe,” he murmured. “You don’t have to hold it together.”
Derek, leaning against the wall, pushed off and crossed the room silently. He turned off the overhead lights and turned on a warm, dim lamp instead. Lydia pulled Liam and Kira toward the hallway with gentle gestures. Malia closed the fridge softly, looking oddly protective.
Stiles crouched in front of you. “Hey. Look at me for a sec?”
Your eyes lifted, watery and overwhelmed.
“You didn’t do anything wrong,” he said. “Your brain’s just tired. It happens.”
Scott nodded, brushing a stray hair behind your ear. “You’ve been pushing yourself too hard. You can breathe now.”
The pressure in your chest loosened, just enough for a shaky exhale.
Stiles reached into his bag and pulled out noise-cancelling headphones - your favourite pair he kept “just in case.”
“Can I?” he asked.
You nodded.
The moment the headphones settled over your ears, the world softened. The noise dulled. Your thoughts stopped spiraling.
Scott wrapped an arm around your shoulder, pulling you gently into his side. “You don’t have to be strong all the time,” he whispered. “You’re allowed to need help.”
Your lip trembled. “I didn’t want to bother anyone.”
Stiles scoffed softly. “You? Bothering us? Impossible.”
He tapped your knee lightly. “You’re pack. We look out for each other. And if biology is trying to murder you on top of everything else, then we’ll punch biology in the face.”
You let out a tiny, broken laugh.
The room stayed dim, quiet, and soft around you. Derek kept watch from the corner - silent reassurance. Lydia brought a blanket. Kira handed you a warm cup of tea without speaking. Liam sat on the floor nearby, keeping his movements slow and gentle.
You finally let your head rest on Scott’s shoulder, breaths evening out.
For the first time all day, you didn’t feel like you were one second away from shattering.
You were held. You were safe.
