You know what's keeping me awake? This. Not all couples are privileged enough to have reached a certain age together and yet they remain truly, madly and deeply in love with each other. Been dreaming of a lovestory far beyond what I'm able to imagine. Love moves in mysterious ways anyway. I hope it comes to me mysteriously beautiful in ways only God, the best Lover, can provide. There's no any other better reason I could think of why I remained single all these years. He has prepared me for something big and great, and made me fully armed and ready for the awesomeness that is yet to come. I don't wanna be with a man and be unhappy for the rest of my life. I wanna be with a man I can totally enjoy life with every single day. So I'd better be entrusting my heart to the One whom I know will never hurt me, the Almighty, so He can protect it. In a blink of an eye, everything can change. It's the first day of the year and believe that there's still hope for you. Hope for you to grow, heal, and learn to be the best that you can be. If you're reading this, I just want you to know and realize, that your story is still going. Things may confuse you and doubts may cloud your mind. But never give up on yourself. As much as you might want to say otherwise, some things are just true for all of us. There is still time for you to put things to where you want them to be. To seize the things you've been reaching out for. Still time for miraculous changes. There's still time for you to surprise and be surprised. Because, we are still going, you and I. We are stories still going with possibilities of hope. I've learned a lot last year... I learned that things don't always turn out the way I originally planned, or the way I think they should. And I've learned that some broken things stay broken, and that you can get through bad times and yet keep looking for better ones, as long as you surround yourself with people who love you. I just kept going. Sometimes our lives have to be completely shaken up, changed, and rearranged to relocate us to the place we're meant to be. As much as you want to plan your life, God always has a way of surprising you with unexpected things that make you stronger, wiser, better, or even happier than you initially planned. That's how we call it "God's will". So I end this up with a promising verse from John 13:7, "You don't understand now what I'm doing, but someday you will." Yes, great amen. Trust in His plans. They're way, way better than ours. Things may happen in a way we may never understand. But just keep going. So I continue to dream, to live, and to believe, despite life's greatest failures and challenges. Dream BIG, live without fear of the future and believe that it will happen. I should be up by now. But here I am, curled underneath this blanket, head burried under this pillow, that if they could only speak, they'll complain of drowning in tears during cold nights. I steady my heart. Trying to silence my sobs and listening to His voice. "My child, trust in Me. I am your God and you are Mine," He says. I refuse to let go of my grip from my soaked pillow. "Learn to let go," He added. Then my grip weakened. Too weak that I fell into God's spell. I can feel His presence in my room. He sounded like He's just seated right next to me. From the innermost core of my being, for the first time after a long time, I felt light. Like all these weight on my shoulders have been taken, and then, I knew, no words can explain, I felt God's comforting embrace. I've known pain and deep regrets. I know what my mistakes has brought me through. I know how it feels to be drowned in tears with hurts like spears and fears like chains. But Your grace, has healed, saved, and redeemed my broken soul. I apologize for yesterdays. Now I know tomorrow will be better, because Your mercy remains. Lord, whatever plans You have for me, I completely trust in them. I will let go. I may not understand the reasons why You need to take some of it today, but You know what is best for me. You have something beautiful in store for me ahead. So I raise the white banner and surrender myself to You. Whatever tomorrow brings, I know I will be okay because You will be there. I was broken apart and You soften my heart. Your love is great. I can now let go of the things I love and place them in Your hands. I claim Your promise that all things gonna work together for good to those who believe and trust in You. I know that everyday I'm getting closer to that dream. I patiently wait for it. We may never know what lies ahead of us. We just have to continually keep moving forward. We may lose our job, lose people we care so much, lose some good friends, and lose every opportunity that awaits us. But lo and behold, great is our God, He moves mysteriously and amazingly far more than we can ever fathom. What seemed broken, hopeless, and a failure, He will flabbergastingly restore. God remains in control of your life when you think everything gets out of control. Some unexpected and even unwanted things just have to happen to make us learn and grow as a person we are ought to become. We may not understand His ways right now, but you know, soon we will. You see, He is molding us to become better, or perhaps, even become the best that we can ever possibly be. There are times we feel we're barely hanging on a thread, or maybe, walking on thin ice, but just breathe, and let your spirit rest. He got you, darling, He'll get you through it, as He always will. Trust in Him. He's the only Being we can completely trust. He is always faithful to His promises. And He never fails. I may not be feeling well right now. Fever, body pains. Just here in bed, but currently lost in the moment. Physically tired, emotionally exhausted, but spiritually fuelled-up. I've got all these thoughts running in mind like a hundred miles per minute. But I worry no more, He calmed my soul. Once lost, now found. Thank You, God. I genuinely enjoy our quality times so much. Praises to You! I pray for the people whose nights are cold, those who are struggling to sleep, those in pain, those who are confused and lost, and those people who feels unwanted, unloved, unappreciated, may you all find God's loving arms of comfort, peace, love, and hope tonight.
