Playing Dress-Up
Billy swallowed as he knocked on Teddy's door, his backpack slung over his shoulder. He was spending the weekend at Teddy's again while his mother was out on a business trip, and tonight was the night they'd agreed to 'pay up' on their bet.
He glanced up at the door and shifted his wait from foot to foot, waiting excitedly for his boyfriend to return.
The Game
Billy laughed as he watched Teddy rile up his team. Most of them had come to accept the fact that Teddy was gay, and no longer made jabs or comments when they noticed Billy waiting in the locker room for the blonde haired quarterback. Some of them were even nice enough to talk to Billy on a regular basis, although today was a little different.
Today was the first game the team was playing while Billy was officially Teddy's boyfriend, so that meant Billy was wearing Teddy's other jersey. Not even the snide comments about it at school brought down Billy's high spirits, and part of his excitement had to do with the 'bet' Billy had made on the game.
As the guys riled up and began to whoop and call, Billy tried to stay close to Teddy as they were jostled around, not wanting to loose his boyfriend in the huddle the guys had made around them. It was inspiring the way Teddy led them in a cheer, and Billy found himself wishing that sometimes he could be that way...
The Jersey
Billy lay in Teddy's bed, his body splayed lazily across it as he stared up at the ceiling. They were alone again, Teddy's mother was out on a business trip, and the young teens took every chance this happened to be alone.
Billy had only arrived a little while ago, and after some heavy making out Teddy decided to go grab something to drink. Of course Billy was partially dazed from having Teddy's tongue ravage his mouth, and Teddy could have told him that he was going to Timbuktu and Billy would have just smiled like an idiot and nodded.
So no he was on the bed, alone, and waiting for Teddy to return. It was hot a hell so Billy had decided to strip down to his shirt and boxers, and surprisingly didn't feel uncomfortable at all. With a huff Billy rolled onto his side, and he noticed one of Teddy's football jerseys. He'd never worn one before, let alone Teddy's, and suddenly he was very curious. He scrambled off the bed and walked over to it as he pulled off his own t-shirt. After scooping it off the ground Billy fiddled with it until he could slip it on. He didn't know why he wanted to try it, but curiosity got the best of him, and he drifted in front of Teddy's mirror to check himself out.
It smelled like Teddy, with only a hint of musk, and Billy loved it. He wondered why he hadn't tried before as he slowly turned, examining himself. yeah, he looked like he was practically wearing a dress, but something about wearing his boyfriend's jerseywas romantic...
Meet my parents
Billy stared at the front door of their house, his stomach churning nervously as he shifted his weight from foot to foot. Teddy was coming over, to meet his parents for the first time, and billy couldn't help the worry he was feeling. He wanted Teddy to meet his parents, but what if they didn't like him? What if something went wrong? what if his parents were to find out their were dating?
Billy swallowed and took a deep breath, trying to calm down. It was going to be fine. His parents would love Teddy. He was sure of it.
Let's Make-Up
Billy's day seemed to pass in a haze of pain and sadness. He had been dreading coming to school today due to their fight yesterday, and Billy was still a whirlwind of emotions.
First he was angry, and hurt. Part of him wanted to be because he felt Teddy didn't need to let Greg touch him. He could have pushed Greg away even if Greg didn't really kiss him- should have pushed him away.
And the other part of him was screaming to him about how much of an idiot he was being. Teddy wouldn't have kissed Greg. He was too loyal, too wonderful for that, and Greg was a big guy, he could have easily forced Teddy into it, or made Teddy think he was joking because they were friends.
All of this chalked up to guilt. He wished he didn't run off like that. He wished he didn't push Teddy. He wished he could rewind and take back everything he'd said and talked like and adult. He wished he didn't doubt Teddy's words right away. He longed for a phone call, text, anything from his boyfriend the entire night, hoping that everything had been some sort of dream. Hoping that he wasn't really hurting this badly.
Slowly Billy pulled on his gym clothes and headed into the gym, barely noticing that the teacher was late and the other kids were wandering around. Billy drifted over to his usual corner on the mats, and he hopped up onto them, placing his elbows on his thighs and his head in his hands. He needed to talk to Teddy...to work things out. He needed to apologize for being stupid, and for not trusting him. He loved Teddy and knew Teddy loved him. How could he have been so stupid...
Billy shut his eyes and tears began to form. "I'm sorry Teddy..." he whispered to himself.
The switch
Billy cried out the blast nailed him in the chest and his back met the hard side of a brick building Pain shot through his entire body as he felt the bricks behind him crumble under the impact, and the wind was knocked clean out of him. Too dazed to catch himself Billy slumped to the ground, unmoving as tears stung his eyes, and he tried to catch the breath that had been knocked out of him.
