hey i saw u were planning on maaaybe starting or joining a dnd group for newbies and i just wanted to say if u do end up joining or making one could u tell me? i mean i know literally nothing about tabletop games but i really!! wannna learn how to play and id love to do it with ppl who wont yell at me for not getting smth immidiately
hey friend !! of course, I’ll be glad to let you know if I find a good group as soon as I do. the one I’ve asked to join is only accepting one new player, but we’ll see what happens. and I’d love to help you set up your character as well if you want c:
and actually, it would be really useful if you went ahead and read the player’s rulebook for any system you’re looking into playing. It can be overwhelming at first, but try and familiarize yourself with the basic rules, in particular the skills and combat system, and it’ll be a lot easier on both yourself and the game master when you get started !
I recommend the dragon age tabletop rpg, and I already have the pdf for the player’s guide here! in my experience so far it’s a bit more streamlined and beginner-friendly than the DnD d20 stuff.
let me know if you have any questions or need any more help !! and hell yeah I’ll let you know if I end up running that game. it’s really so nice to see people who are eager to learn and play! :’)
@sonsoftatooine answered your post: im watching critical role and I REALLY...
the dragon age tabletop game is pretty easy to play! I’m playing a game of it on roll20 at the moment (i’m using the pictures I commissioned from you a while ago as my tokens haha)
oh wow that’s great to hear!! :’D im so glad those pics are being used for a noble cause haha
and OH MAN I literally just looked again and there’s a group looking for one more member in a beginner’s game. im so relieved.. I think i’m going to hit them up right now :’) thank you for answering ! if I can really join the group we should swap campaigns stories sometime haha, i bet you have some good ones!
