but here are the kringlas! my grandma always used to bring them home from the Amana colonies and i couldn’t find any in stores where i live now, so i had to learn to make them!

they’re a norwegian cookie that’s not overwhelmingly sweet—just sweet enough to be a treat. they’re a little cakelike in texture; softer than a typical cookie.
