krippner said: They should be fine. 3 years isn’t all that old for tomato seed. Even if you assume a 10% per year loss of fertility (which is probably high) you’re still looking at 60 - 70% germination. Yay! Good to know. Most refs I looked at said 4 years max but I know they play it on the super safe side. So far, no germination in a week, but keeping in mind we had low light over the weekend and since I'm just putting them outside with two covers, it's been cloudy the past two days so temps haven't been very consistent for them (around 68° inside at night). But tomorrow through the weekend is supposed to be high 60s-high 70s so hopefully it'll be better for em. And the tomatillos!

I'd experiment; write it several different ways and see which one sounds the best to you. I'm doing The World's Worst Novel in both first person and third, switching if I need to bring out something that won't work the other way
awesome.
krippner replied to your post: “Rhetorical questions in third person limited point-of-view narration?...”:
Sure, why not? A rhetorical question is intended to make a statement not to get information, so I don't see why you couldn't do it.
Okay. The main character is thinking these thoughts in her mind, in unanswered question form, but I don't wanna write it like italicized thoughts, like what she is saying in her brain. I just want to have the narrator present the ideas.

I didn't even know McD had sundaes. Sheesh... I got to get out more.
They are small and unremarkable, just vanilla ice cream and the sauce. They are on the dollar menu, or were the last I heard...
(Basically it's just ice cream in a cup.)

We had a McD open right across the street from the local DQ. We were afraid the DQ would go under. Just the opposite happened. Everyone started to go to DQ just because they hated McD so much.
Hahahahahaha

yes! I'm the same way with the guitar. I got discouraged and stopped playing and it's been gathering dust for years... Damn, I need to dig the thing out again and start driving people crazy by playing Streets of Laredo over and over and over....
SC Boy liked this.
