@krirene For the past week, Jongdae has been filled with a fraternal murdering instinct -- aka Jongin has been asking to be killed yet Jongdae has not gathered the courage to do so just yet. But oh boy, he’s going to die... he will.
The moment the younger talked to him about the app that he should try and the amount of people he’d meet like that, Jongdae already knew what he wanted and therefore the answer was ‘no’. Of course that Jongin being the stubborn mule that he is, he simply assumed that no meant yes and got ahead of himself -- again. Jongdae doesn’t even know that something happened but his phone blinks with notifications that he can’t understand and ‘requests’ that need to be accepted or declined. He thinks about calling his brother, but he was always one for confrontation so he knocks on his door instead. There’s no buts but he does utter an ‘I can explain’. Jongdae is sure he can.
He sees the profile for the first time and he nearly passes out because the utter amount of bullshit written is enough to make him want to throw up. There’s a lot of “Where the hell did you get that picture?” at the sight of the shirtless profile picture that is clearly too much but nothing seems to deter the younger who’s all for “if you got it flaunt it, hyung” It’s a compliment and yes, his body does look pretty darn good and muscled but there’s only one thing he can think about at that moment “Delete this immediately”. Of course that the younger doesn’t. In fact, besides the greasy description and the shirtless picture, the exaggerated profile is enough to make him wonder what the hell is going on in his brother’s head. Nothing, he concludes. Nonetheless, he is told that it’s actually a success -- whatever the hell he means by it. “I said yes” To what, Jongdae asks “a date, of course.” His hand smacking Jongin’s head can probably be heard across the apartment and the younger pouts for an hour straight.
So, moral of the story: Jongdae’s life sucks and he has a meddlesome brother who likes to stick his nose in everything without thinking about things first -- or at all. Granted, he could have simply threaten him and demand for him to uninstall that damn thing or delete the account, but he caught himself getting stuck into it, somehow. It shouldn’t surprise him that he is in front of the mall, waiting for someone that has sent him pictures and talked to him and agreed to meet him for a movie session. He really can’t believe he’s doing this, but there he is, with his black t-shirt and ripped jeans and his dark-blue baseball cap that should make him stand out from the rest of the passersby.
He looks at his watch once more although he’s been doing so for the last forty-five minutes. The text he sent after the first twenty minutes remain unanswered and he is starting to feel stupid for even standing there. So honestly, he’s just going to give himself another fifteen minutes so he can blame himself for being an idiot. That, and thoroughly plan Jongin’s death, of course.
