Line By Line - What Does It Mean?

Line By Line - What Does It Mean?

Mad Woman

What did you think I'd say to that?    

Scott selling her masters to Scooter springs to mind immediately. What did he expect? That she’d say “thank you” and bow out? Especially if what she says is true - the only time his name passed her lips was in tears. 

Does a scorpion sting when fighting back? They strike to kill, and you know I will  

Scott should've know better - she’s said this over and over, but she doesn’t sit down “like a good girl”. She’s also said that she wants to be like a snake - “Grow a backbone, trust your gut, and know when to strike back. Be like a snake — only bite if someone steps on you.” 

What do you sing on your drive home?  

Probably her music because she's catchy and incredible, and he’s been known to say he loves her music (considering his profession, that’s a no brainer)

Do you see my face in the neighbor's lawn? 

She's everywhere, she's artist of the decade! It’s not uncommon for people who have a guilty conscience to see their victims everywhere...

In my head, she's said this to SB, but basically the question is what version of Taylor does SB see? The All American Sweetheart who smiles, or the true Taylor who hates him now?

Probably told her she was crazy and over reacting and all that bullshit. As she once famously said -  A man does something, it’s strategic. A woman does the same thing, it’s calculated. A man is allowed to react. A woman can only overreact.

Because women being placated and told to be quiet has gone on long enough. Being told to “calm down” will never make us calm down. Saying we seem angry will only make us angry. Telling us we’re crazy will only make us “more crazy”. It’s time we stop belittling and shaming women’s experiences and emotions.

All I think about is the IDSB set from Rep Tour, all the flames. It could also indicate that everytime she speaks now she has strong meaning behind her words, which light up and aren’t necessarily all nice.

They're burning all the witches... even if you aren’t one. Also, correct me if I’m mistaken, but several people under Scooter’s label spoke out to defend him (including Demi) - women like “hunting” too. 

Doing your dirtiest work for you 

Taylor basically made BMR what it was if she’s indicating herself as a woman who likes hunting witches, but it also indicates that Scooter had people like Demi standing up for him. 

It's obvious that wanting me dead has really brought you two together 

Not in the literal sense; but her career (and seeming to want to end it/own it) bought together two people - SB squared
