((@kris-rune excuse me what i will fight you))
starter for @kris-rune!
Out of all the people in the class, he hadn’t been expecting to wind up with Kris as an assigned partner. Rather than choosing their own partners, this time Alphys apparently thought it was best to assign partners for this one particular project. Of course, he had been expecting it to some extent. After all, there was a one in eight chance that he could have been paired up with Kris, which equated to about twelve and a half percent. It wasn’t all that likely, but it was still a more probable percentage than nothing at all. It didn’t mean it was any less detestable to hear, however.
Berdly rolled his eyes as soon as he found out who he was paired with. He turned around to speak to Kris. “So, we’re partners. Lucky you. Don’t think you’re getting an A by simply being my partner, without doing any work. I expect you to pull your own weight.” He said, then considered that perhaps he should start planning for the project. It was better to get it over with, after all.
He asked, “In any case, what do you think we should do for our project? If you even have any good ideas underneath all that reticence.”
*Kris was standing in the hall of the school. Oddly enough, he was waiting for Berdly. He had a question for him. It was something important, but there was sadly the possibility that Berdly wouldn't know what Kris had on his mind.
Berdly had just walked into the hallway, when he noticed Kris was standing nearby. Normally, he would have ignored him, but the look on Kris’s face told the bird monster that something was on his mind.
He didn’t know what, and he wasn’t sure if he cared, but as soon as he ended up approaching the human after walking far enough down the hallway, he felt the need to ask him.
“What’s with that look?”
@kris-rune
“Look, y’don’t have to say anything. I know you’re upset I went away, and I’m sorry for that. Believe me, I’ve cried about it. Okay? I need to do something, though, so I went to college. That doesn’t have to be such a bad thing, does it? I’m here now, isn’t... isn’t that what matters?”
Asriel shifted his maroon eyes to Kris and twiddled his thumbs. He figured his sibling was still upset with him for leaving in the first place, so he was trying his best to cheer Kris up. “How about we do something fun, huh? We could go down to the diner, order some hot chocolate...”
