Mela Starter Pack | A collection of little places to call home (Philippines, Mexico, southern California, Charleston). There's a quote I read yesterday that a friend posted about the negativity people feel the need to bring up when sorrow or depression strikes others. "Saying someone can’t be sad because someone else may have it worse is just like saying someone can’t be happy because someone else may have it better." It rang so true and I wish more people could understand it.

Also, I've limited a lot of my time in the past few months to living vicariously through tumblr posts. Do I like a post of the sun shining through leaves or get my butt out and see it for myself? Lately I haven't been blogging much and much of what's been posted has been on queue. Once or twice per day and it's likely automatic. Even Disney trips seem more fun when I'm not toting around a camera and looking through lenses. I'm starting to see what you've meant. Tumblr's days are numbered.
