I didn't realize there was a newer version. I am a serial vid watcher, pretty much don't care what the fandom is. Speaking of...was there a vid for Pros to This Songs Just 6 Words Long? I swear I saw it once, but not a trace of it anywhere. p.s. THE SWEATER.

From 2015. It’s an overview of the whole series with all those characters everyone forgets, like Charlie DeSalvo. What was the older one like?

I get most of my history knowledge from Fanlore or from the same places Fanlore is sourcing from. Looks to me like that Pros vid is by MVD.

Oooooh yeah. Hearing him sing on E.R. was when I totally began to fangirl him like crazy.

Happy Hannibal Holidays

As part of holiday gifts exchange project, here is my present for a lovely fellow Fannibal @kronette. Happy Holidays guys and I hope You enjoy this time of year! 

This Christmas 

Will released Hannibal’s hand and sashayed to the kitchen lit by plenty of candles – some on decorative candlesticks, some in small jars. He found the fish he’d caught sprawled on a large plate decorated with slices of lemon and cranberries. Then, he felt a chill swoosh of air as Hannibal walked past him and pulled a chair for him. Will sat down, succumbing to the evening’s atmosphere. Hannibal poured them red wine and placed the glasses next to the mugs with compote.

That was it – the Christmas Eve. Will sighed and blinked with heavy eyes.

I never understood that. In all of Atlantis’ database, Rodney’s team couldn’t find the blueprints? Or were the Atlanteans so arrogant that they didn’t think they’d ever need to build more?

There had to have been blueprints...surely they wrote down how to make ZPMs before they decided Ascension was the way to go. I think it is canon that the Atlantis database is a mess; I’ve always just assumed that Earth-based search methods aren’t turning anything up.

We’ve just had the insane cold since pretty much right after Christmas, and only getting worse by the day. Of course the real fun was being up at my mom’s for 3 days helping with her chickens and turkeys and ducks when it was only about 10-18 degrees outside...and the first two days I didn’t have good enough boots and managed to give myself a case of frostnip in my toes.

Good times, good times.

I don’t, mainly because zero chemistry. Chloe isn’t…anything special. The only thing we’ve seen special about her is that she’s immune to Lucifer and she makes him physically vulnerable to injury. Not exactly a ringing endorsement for sexy times.

Yes, that’s a huge part of it for me, too. They keep telling us how “special” she is, but I haven’t seen anything that actually shows it. Certainly not to the extent that should make her especially, well, special to Lucifer except for her immunity to him. (Which, ok, I can see making the argument that that would be enough to make her particularly intriguing to him, to an extent? But as soon as he learned how his father specifically arranged for that to be the case, that should have been the end of it. And I could get behind her learning more about this but it feels like trying to force a sexual attraction/chemistry that just isn’t there. For me, at least.)

Anyone know if I can put the UofI address on a box of old zines and leave a note for my fannish next of kin to ship it to the university? I don't want to get rid of them, but I want to make sure whoever stumbles on the box knows where to send it.

I don’t know if they want infinite new material forever. It might be better to catalogue what you have and tell your FNOK to figure out which collection is still accepting stuff at that point.
