A new TV show, set in the world of Rick Riordan’s Percy Jackson Universe. This show focuses on the demigods from the “wrong” side of the war and their battles. Some of our main characters are names you may find familiar, Chris Rodriguez, and some you may not.
This show follows these demigods in their side of the war, you learn all the things that made them chose their side. why they chose Kronos instead of camp. You get to follow demigods who have been claimed, Cleo Ridder, Nellie Boyd, and those who are not so fortunate to know who their godly parent is, Nickolas Aisling, Chris Rodriguez, Maia Tua.
The first season kicks off around after Luke had poisoned Thalia’s Tree. If you’ve read the books, and watch the show - there are small little surprises and references to the book that may be over looked, if not for the trained eye.
Kronos and Cleon in their little mindscape stasis home and she introduces him to film and movies. Many of which haven't been seen in over 25,000 years.
And at first he's confused, like why would he sit and watch moving pictures for an hour and a half or more? Wouldn't watching a holo for that long be boring?
But then the music starts and the story begins to captivate him and Kronos is curled into his side and.... Well maybe he starts to understand.
Storytelling has been human nature since the beginning and this is just another way humanity has told them.
And he has to admit he really likes how she stays snuggled into him and this 'popped corn' she insisted on making.
There's an intimacy to it, sharing each other's space and experiencing the story together.
And maybe, in that moment, he won't admit that during an emotional part he perhaps let a few tears slip. But as time passes, and weeks turn into years, he won't hide the fact that the sweeping music and emotion of the story gets to him.
He loves watching films about Earth history, learning about the past milestones of humanity. Both in documentaries and historical dramas.
He's not really a fan of comedies, rom-coms specifically, most of the jokes going over his head since he's missing the societal context needed to understand them. But sometimes funny is just funny.
Kronos is more likely to fall asleep during a film because it isn't a brand new experience for her. But he doesn't mind, he thinks she's adorable, passed out in his arms or on top of his chest.
