Clarisse had her mind set on a bad ending to the conversation they were about to have. There was no way in hades that Luke was going to have a good reaction. As she stepped up to the cabin, seven-month-old Meredith in tow, she took a deep breath before knocking lightly on the cabin door.

Clarisse leaned against the fencing as she watched Luke practicing his swordsmanship. She couldn't keep the smile off of her lips as she nearly bounced in anticipation for him to finish.

Clarisse looked up from her spot in the grass, eyes trained on the blonde boy not far from her. She couldn't help but watch his movements, there had seemed to be something about the boy that forced her to keep her eyes on him whenever he was around  subtly of course. When he looked over her way, she instantly looked down, staring at her lap as though it was the most interesting thing in the world.
