Scavenger Hunt
Of course things couldn’t be easy. Seth heard the message echo in his mind and felt a sense of both dread and relief. Find the councilmen items. It was the first hint he had in the last few days since waking up in the past on how to stop this magic. Luckily, he knew who most of the councilman were around here, even if i he didn’t know them all personally. If these items were to be used in a spell, they’d surely give off some sort of vibe to magic users, wouldn’t they?
The only problem now was getting to them before someone else looking to fuck up the timeline got them. And there were plenty of those types here in Krovs not happy with their situations.
He’d spent the past few days figuring out how to blend in and convince the majority of vampires that he was an ally of theirs. Not many believed him initially since many witches chose “Team Fae,” but it’d do to keep him alive. He roamed through the grounds at night, a small flame in his palm to help light the way. Boy, he missed his cell phone flashlight. Seth closed his eyes and extended his magical reach with an invisible pulse of energy, hoping to feel something within his vicinity that might indicate a magic item nearby. The sound of footsteps crunching in the snow quickly broke his focus and he whipped around, the flame in his hand grew in response to a potential threat.
“Well, this is slightly unexpected,” he said, unable to resist a small smirk at the familiar face.
