These mini cheese and onion quiche krumpli are delightful bites bursting with savory flavor. Perfect for parties, brunches, or a tasty snack, they are simple to make and sure to impress.
Ingredients: 200g shortcrust pastry. 1 onion, finely chopped. 150g grated cheese cheddar or gruyere. 3 eggs. 150ml milk. Salt and pepper to taste. Fresh parsley for garnish optional.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 350F 182C. Spread the shortcrust pastry out on a work surface and use it to line a muffin tin. Make sure it covers the whole pan evenly and gently press it into the corners. Put the chopped onion in a skillet and cook it until it's soft and clear. Spread the sauted onions out evenly in the muffin cups that have been lined with pastry. Add cheese flakes to the onions in each cup. Whisk the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper together in a bowl. Cover the cheese and onions in the muffin cups with the egg mixture. Almost fill each cup to the top. The quiches should be baked in a hot oven for twenty to twenty-five minutes, or until they are golden brown and puffy. Take them out of the oven and let them cool a bit before adding fresh parsley, if you want to. You can serve it hot or cold.
