come before i crash, @krxchen
Hyungwon glared at his hand as it shook, just from unlocking the door. Chen wasn't going to be here for another ten minutes and he was already a goddamn mess. He trodded back to his couch and turned on the TV, not caring if the neighbors would hear. The blanket around him was warm, he was safe in his own apartment, no one was going to come after him. And yet. Still, Hyungwon didn't want to close his eyes, even for a second.
Every time he blinked, he could still feel it. The edge of a scalpel up against his-not-his eyelid, pushing to cut his skin in two, and him powerless to do anything about it. Hyungwon fucking hated seeing other people's dreams. It was an invasion of privacy, and more often than not, he just didn't want to see what sick ideas the imagination could come up with.
There was a knock at the door and Hyungwon texted Chen to enter, the door was open, just lock it after you. He didn't feel like talking. He wanted to rub his eye and sleep so bad, but every second of closed eyes was another second remembering. He glared blankly at the TV screen, moving just to grab a game controller. Something, better than nothing.
