The smallest yelp as Molly is quick to turn around the sudden, yet quick, sound of a branch snapping from the harbinger. Of course, as soon as she sees who it was does she let out a sigh of relief, a hand resting over her chest.
“Sorry, sweetheart! Gave me a lil’ scare- but, uh, somethin’ you might be used ta’?” Was that a rude assumption? Molly wasn’t quite all there in the head to really think of her words. After all she was in an environment she very well was NOT a fan of, and yet with the comfort of having such a round of company, she STILL couldn’t help having the soft wave of anxiety flow through her.
Only reason she even agreed to come and work was because of the hefty pay raise she was promised since the other school nurse was out of commission for the time being. Besides, Angelo told her this may be a good chance for her to get over her fears in the first place.
“Did you need somethin’, sweetheart, or were you just takin’ a stroll around?”
