@ksharhrewar : Gives him a small kiss to his cheek. ❝ Happy birthday, Haitham. ❞
He returns alongside the SETTING SUN, golden rays mingling with the last light of day — it is his favored time to walk the streets, when the hustle and bustle dies down, and even the market grows quiet in the late evening hours. However, no place grants quite as much reprieve as the comforts of his own home, and it is as though AN INVISIBLE WEIGHT lifts from his shoulders as soon as he closes that door behind him. For all but a few sweet hours, what duties would once more await come morning could be blissfully disregarded.
Yet as he turns to set aside the groceries he purchased on his way back, his eye catches the approaching silhouette of a certain artisan — and for a moment, Alhaitham near expects another complaint to leave his mouth. Color him surprised when he finds a greeting kiss placed to his cheek instead, the occasion of the day of no import to him, but seemingly not lost to Kaveh.
A BRIEF PAUSE, and then he allows his attention to shift, fingers finding purchase against the other's jawline to coax his face around. What plans he might have originally had for the evening were postponed in favor of leaning down into another kiss, lips parting slightly against the warmth of his mouth. He lingers there for a moment, permitting this indulgence — and it is only when Alhaitham breaks from him that he returns a simple, ❝ Thank you. ❞
