— PLEASE LET THE MUN KNOW IF THE STARTER IS UNSUITABLE
Sad child. They don’t know any better now do they? Junhee carried on watching the scene before her through the window of the small pub she frequents to in Seoul. This was merely a layover. She would not return to this city if she had not been ordered to. There was nothing for her here anymore; she had left everyone and she did not expect anyone to welcome her with open arms as if she was family. She knew she would not be easily forgiven for what she did.
Downing the last bit of alcohol in her glass, she threw a few couple of bills onto the bar counter before nodding farewell to the familiar bartender. Junhee liked him, he asked no questions and served her as if nothing happen. If only everyone was that forgiving.
Spring was not forgiving either. It still had a chill to its weather and the cold served as a reminder to her failure. Tugging onto her coat she walked up to the man who had stumbled against the pile of garbage bags and now slumped against the brick wall. She nudged his foot with her own foot to see if he was conscious. Junhee was in a generous mood hence, she was helping him.
"Hey, buddy. You awake? Get up before the rats get to you."
