uuhhhhhhh... I have no idea. like honestly. The first thing that comes to mind is Hermione. She's driven and knows what she wants out of life, but she's terrified of failure and puts too much pressure on herself. Also her main motive is not seeking a man, which is something I've recently learned that is not necessary to be happy. maybe?
Regarding your question, it's all in skill level. If you're playing in the WJC it's because you have high skill for a U20 player and usually playing for a college or junior team (some haven't gotten there and some have played for the NHL). U20 players who are playing at an NHL level and have the skill level of an Olympian don't really come around that often, and if you look at the rosters for the Olympics teams, the sheer talent doesn't leave much room for young, unexperienced guys.

I know its not that great an answer, but reading. With mom's help, I was reading when I started kindergarten, and it was always something we'd do together. I remember her sitting out on the patio reading one of her books, and I would get one of my picture books and sit out there with her and do everything she did. We both love to read, and while we may not like the same books, we're definitely the readers of the family.
