Pembrey, October 2024.
Had to ride Kato, I'd broken the Suzuki so the motor was getting fixed.
Whilst waiting for scrutineering. This fella floats around the queue checking for cameras on bikes so I grabbed a photo of him.

Wednesday of course.
Raced the Kato again at the weekend. It wasn’t right at Pembrey a few weeks back so I put some fresh plugs in, new fuel pump and changed the water pump seals. Runs a treat now. Took it out in the class I used to race in a few years ago and won. The old beast has still got it and it still sounds great on the pipe.

Ute, 2005-2021
My old L200 moved on yesterday. It was still going ok after 16 years but was starting to cost a little more money every year. I bought it in spring 2005 with the intention of running it until it died. I wanted to get to 200,000 miles but only made it to 150,000 before it was getting troublesome. Nothing major but I think the head may have had a crack around one of the injectors and although I could have bought a new head and changed it myself I figured that would be the start of more major repairs. It was still on its original clutch and I only swapped the original brake discs in December. A strong truck that has worked hard but it was time.
Here it is with the race bike on the back a few years ago.
Cadwell Park 2019.
First run of the year for the KTM. Like to keep it ticking over so the chance to ride it on a test day in the sunshine was the ideal opportunity. A couple of sessions to make sure all is good with it. Even though it is dated already this machine never fails to make me smile when I ride it.

KTM RC8 Redbull.
A few images from a while back. I was commissioned to shoot the white bike for an editorial but both bikes belong to the same person so I had both as they needed to be in the same location for shipping purposes.
They are both now for sale and the owner got in touch recently to see if I had any images of the Redbull on its own. Thankfully I shot a few and here they are.
If you are interested in buying either of these bikes then drop me a message and I’ll put you in touch with the owner. I have no detail on them other than what I know from photographing them.
The Redbull is Zero miles, doubt it’s ever been run. I certainly didn’t start it when I had it. It’s signed by Martin Bauer the IDM champion and is fitted with the Akrapovic exhaust. Very limited numbers on these bikes as far as I know.
Wednesday so here’s one from last year at Anglesey.

Previous image was from 2016. I also bought a few images this year too. Still managed to get a few races in on the big bike, even though the Ducati was my main machine. This is turn one at Pembrey in Wales. Hairpin at the end of the Start straight. 6th to 2nd and chuck it in!
