After his parents are targeted for his powers, Shigeo and Ritsu’s rescue mission goes horribly wrong, and their lives are torn apart. Ritsu is captured and falsely imprisoned, and Shigeo is lead down a dark path by the leader of a volatile political and spiritual movement.

i kept forgetting to share this, but a reader sent me this lovely, lovely fan art!!!

all of the engagement on kudzu has been so lovely, and i appreciate all of the people who have left kudos, a comment, or sent me art! it means the WORLD to me!! this is the first fic of mine that people have made art for (someone once mentioned that they had once drawn something for my gravity falls fic, but i stumbled upon that tweet during a major lurk session and probably wasn't ever supposed to know, and they never posted it lol)

basically i just want to say thank you thank you to anyone who engages with my writing in any way!!!! and thank you postingpleaseignore for sending me your wonderful drawing :3

OKAY FINALLY FINISHED CHAPTER 8!!! gonna squeeze in editing between my other tasks, and hopefully have it up today, but it's 11k words lol, so it may be tmrw.

gonna try to crank it out, but i want to make sure it's not sloppy, and also i've got plans to be a lesbian later (aka, a date), so priorities must be balanced.

what do you want to see more of from dimple? he's had a pretty distant role so far, but want him to become more integral and figured since i have few concrete details planned for what that looks like, i'd see what you think! anything you guys really want to see from our favorite neon green spirit?

y'all don't worry, i'm still enjoying writing kudzu and planning on finishing it for sure, but for some reason trying to get the past few chapters rolling has felt like slogging through mudddd, my goodness!!! (っ- ‸ - ς)

i think i just have a bad habit of waffling around and being perfectionist and it slows me down a lot. trying to get back to my childhood mentality where writing was pure fun with no rules or boundaries, but it is slooow going.

the paradox of the english degree: you taught me to understand language and storytelling so well that i've become convinced i actually know nothing about either and am the worst of all time
