This is Kujukushima in Nagasaki Prefecture. Kujukushima -- "ninety-nine islands." Actually, there are over 200 islands in this bay near the city of Sasebo.
We were up here with some overseas TV crews, setting the scene for a whistle-stop trip in the region.
We were here for work but this visitor for one couldn't help but gawp at the view while the TV people set about getting a quick interview with our bus driver about the effect the coronavirus was having on his work.
