Twice A Man - Kula World: Original Soundtrack
Soundtrack from the Sony PlayStation game "Kula World" (also known as "KulaQuest" or "クーラクエスト" in Japan and "Roll Away" in North America), composed and arranged by Dan Söderqvist, Jocke Söderqvist & Karl Gasleben, a.k.a. "Twice A Man", a Swedish electronic music group based in Gothenburg.
Cover artwork for the 1998 Japanese PlayStation release of:
Kula World / Roll Away / KulaQuest / クーラクエスト
Art by Game Design Sweden AB or SCEI (Artist name unknown)
As Randomised Gaming only owns a PAL version, we weren’t able to scan in the cover directly. This image comes from Play-Asia website and was the best quality scan we could find. Despite being a European made game the PAL cover is rather bland and doesn’t showcase the game that well. This Japanese cover perfectly explains the gameplay in English annotations, oddly enough. Maybe someone should have translated them for the Japanese. Another case where the Japanese cover is way better.

Hm... Kula World (oder "KulaQuest" in Japan, bzw. "Roll Away" in den USA) erinnert mich irgendwie ganz schön an Glover (ebenfalls PS1, N64 und PC). Nur dass man den Ball hier direkt steuert und nicht, wie bei Glover, mit einer virtuellen Hand. Allerdings kam Glover ca. ein halbes Jahr später raus. Hat sich Hasbro vielleicht die ein oder andere Sache bei "Kula World" abgeguckt bzw. sich inspirieren lassen?
Wer kennt Kula World? Und hat es wirklich Ähnlichkeiten mit Glover, oder täuscht das?

Kula World, Roll Away or KulaQuest (pending where you live) is one of the most relaxing puzzle games on the PlayStation. The aim is to simply roll your ball to the exit, collecting the needed key to open it. Along the way you can collect coins, fruits and other power ups for extra score and to unlock bonus stages.
While the early stages are very straight forward you soon find yourself having to jump from platform to platform. Quickly you realise a large part of this game is all about perspective and often you will find yourself having to roll on the reverse or side of a platform to find the right angle to jump from. One of the more original 3D puzzle / platform from that era, Kula World can be very mind bending at times. A really great game and well worth playing even if you aren't a fan of the genre. The music is one of the most chilled out and relaxing soundtracks you will ever hear.
