Libra Life 016: Music = Life

Have you ever just had one of those gloomy days where all you can hear in the midst of the static in your head.... just... music. like, melancholy, sweet, yet so heart wrenching and sad... but hopeful. That’s how I feel today. I have all this music in my body, but my poor little ipad mini just can’t help me express it, despite having a super old version of garageband on it.

I just need to get all these notes out of the static, all these words out of my head so I can finally feel normal again.

Libra Life 013: Jonghyun + Mental Health

Hi friends,

Today’s post is... *sigh*. I’ve mentioned in a previous post (I think from instagram) that I went to the Shinee concert here in Toronto back in the summer time. I was enthralled by their dances and singing, and it turns out that it would be the final time I would get the chance to see all 5 members together, as the news broke earlier this week that Jonghyun had (possibly) committed suicide.

... mental health is no joke, guys. Mr. Turtle can attest (and I’m sure my closest friends as well) that I have had my own share of hardships dealing with depression (among some other things). I regularly see someone, so I can just hash out things that are on my mind, but also to just check in with my feelings.

If you ever feel like your life is just not worth it, or that things have gotten too hard, I just want to say that even in the dimmest times, know that there are people in the world that care. Your life matters and no matter how little you may think your existence means to anyone... your light turning off will impact us, too.
