Today's guest Kunal Chandra currently works with Pernod Ricard to promote brands like Absolut Vodka, Jameson Irish Whisky, Beefeater London Dry Gin and Monkey 47 Schwarzwald Dry Gin. He also graduated with a Master’s in Food Culture, Communication & Marketing at University of Gastronomic Sciences, in Polenzo, Italy. With a trajectory that has ranged from food photographer, brand communication and representation, Chandra is a great example of someone who is driven, passionate and able to create opportunities at various intersections in food. In this episode, he chronicles his experiences and how he became the first Indian ambassador for Jameson Irish Whisky. He also discusses the challenges and talks about what it takes to be travelling, engaging and immersing in F&B experiences full time. He takes on questions like "Does being a Bar Community manager make you rich and/or famous?", "What are some valuable skills that could make someone a good fit for a job similar to his?" and "What is a good place to start if you're interested in working with beverages in India?"
