Breathe Easy || Danny & Sigyn
After her conversation online with Danny, Sigyn had risen from where she had been sat on her bed and shuffled around her room. It had become habit now, that when she was not in class or exploring the city, she would simply lounge around. It was a luxury she had never had the pleasure to experience while in Asgard as she was always working, always carrying responsibility and while it made her feel restless, it was also immensely satisfying.
Satisfying until the drumming song had begun in her head. It was essential to be connected with her battle sisters at all times but when she had no way of reaching them, hearing their growls and the cry of shield wall! began to made her temples pound. There was nothing she could do to aid them while she was on Midgard but they were still with her, watching her, calling her...There were days she wished she could block it out but she had never been able to find a sufficient method. Even busying herself with exploring Midgard had not helped. In fact, it had worsened the ache in her skull due to the combination of sound pollution from the city as well as the battle cries of the victorious Valkyries.
As there had been mixed reactions to her claims of heritage, she had not expected anyone to so willingly offer her help in overcoming what was bothering her. She was grateful that Danny had, for it was necessary to have someone with her to actually keep her to sit still and focus opposed to deviating onto another task. Plus it gave her the opportunity to get to know another one of her peers; something that, sadly, she had been neglecting to do while trying to understand an entire new realm.
Once changed from her pajamas and into one of her dresses, because she still preferred Asgardian garb to Midgardian attire, she had navigated her way to his room; the journey itself only taking a few minutes. Upon arrival, she gently knocked upon the door and took a step back, waiting for permission to enter.
