Bedroom Art

Hi, I have been working hard on my next artwork called 'Bedroom Art'. It was a bit of a struggle to finish it, because I wasn't happy about the details. Finally after a week re-painting I could declare it as 'finished'. It is made on a board from okoumé ply wood, which should be very unlikely to bend. 'Burgundy' is the name of the base color. Lighter nuances are added to emphasize depth of the relief. Check the photo's / like / comment! Obey the Algorithm

'Obey the Algorithm' contains a rather shallow structure built up from thin strokes. The strokes are all two millimeter too short to fit the maze design. This resulted in a consequent inconvenience. A new relief structure that resulted from applying two algorithms. For maze design, Prim's algorithm is followed. When glueing the overlaying styrodur strips, I applied an uncompromised order from the middle to the edges. This lead to an exciting structure as you can see on the photo's. Base colour is dark verdigris (blue with a touch of green). Lighter and darker nuances are added. Enjoy 'Prim by Prim'!
