Six years old
Jaybird turned six today, as you probably have guessed. He had to go to school, of course, but I still snuck over to the elementary school during lunch and brought cupcakes to his class as a surprise. Ireland and I are taking him out to dinner, of course, but I still felt as if I needed to share lunch with him. Call me selfish, but I am not used to sharing him with his otet. I decided that I needed to make this because of the fact he turned six. Six years ago today I spent a day in the hospital giving birth to this bundle of energy, and it just feels like yesterday. Learning how to talk, how to walk, potty training (good riddance), all of it has passed and now he is a "big boy" who does not want to be carried anymore… even though he moves too slow when we are crossing the street. (I love him dearly, but when a taxi driver is staring you down, it is not time for to find a rock you want to keep.) So here are the facts: 1. I am a single mother, who tries to share custody as equally as possible when I live in Brooklyn, and the father lives in Manhattan with his wife, Kuritsa 2. None of the names I use are their actual names. Jaybird— or JB— is my son, Ireland is Jaybird's father and my ex, and Kuritsa is Ireland's wife and JB's stepmother. I will mostly call myself Mat, and other varied names will probably come up, and I will give you a description so that you do not get lost. 3. I am single at the moment, but may bring up dates I have if I ever get time to do so. Who knows, really? 4. No, Kuritsa is not a nice nickname, but it was either that or the stepmother off of Cinderella. Also, I could do worse than either of those.
Just a little light practice
Kuritsa belongs to soupengine and is character of amazing comic fortune-south
