Ukatake 20 - things you said that i wasn’t meant to hear

“It’s okay, Ittetsu, you can do this. Let’s try this again...” Keishin stopped in front of the door, his hand frozen as he was about to knock. Practice hadn’t started yet and he actually wanted to talk about the upcoming practice matches with Takeda-sensei before the boys would arrive. Now it seemed like he was in the middle of a prep-talk of some sorts which he wasn’t sure he should/wanted to interrupt.

The door was already ajar and against comment courtesy he leaned in to listen and maybe even catch a glance. He really shouldn’t do that. This seemed clearly private, but his curiosity was bigger than his common sense so he stayed and waited before he would announce his presence. For now.

Takeda Ittetsu was standing in front of a small mirror in his office, apparently practicing a speech or something like that which doesn’t surprise the volleyball coach. It would be something sensei would do.

“It’s just asking someone out on a date, you have done this before.” Keishin’s eyes widened as he leaned in further, now not even feeling sorry anymore. Sensei wanted to ask someone out? Who? When did he even meet someone? He was pretty sure it was himself, Keishin Ukai, who spent the most time with him and Takeda hadn’t said anything about a crush. He told himself that it was betrayal that he felt. Betrayal that Takeda hadn’t told him about this person of interest. He wasn’t bitter at all. Nope. Not jealous either, that would be ridiculous!

“Okay, just do it like this: Heyy there I was just wondering- okay now maybe more formal... I would like to inquire- no no that’s too much...” Takeda took a deep breath before trying again. “Ukai-kun, would you like to go out with me some time?”

“Yes!” It was only when Takeda suddenly turned around with a loud screech that Keishin realized what he had done. He had pushed open the door and now stood face to face with the young teacher who looks nothing less than horrified, while Keishin’s face felt way too warm.

we're all talking about the uniforms. but i can't help but feel that, even if they were laughing at the time, at least half the cast thought about how suga looked in that skirt later that evening. ;D

my money is absolutely on daisuga. suga had only heard of the military uniform and he was like PRIVACY. RIGHT NOW. 

they probably get frisky in uniform in more places than the dressing room after it happens in-story and suga’s allowed to see daichi in all of his ex-military glory too

i... eventually have to pick kuroo? he’s more my type (they’re both my type). but i love dark hair and he’s a little more laidback. i love oikawa to bits and pieces but realistically i’m not sure i could handle someone that... outgoing? loud? i don’t know, none of these words seem right.
