“Hey, hey!” The sound of the voice approaching them frombehind was like nails on a chalkboard and Sano cringed, side-stepping when Choshoved himself directly between Saito and him. “Was wonderin’ where ya went offto, boss, but I guess that wasn’t really necessary, now was it? Sup, rooster-head?”
Making no attempt to conceal his irritation, Sano flickedhis eyes to the side and droned, “Does he go everywhere with you?”
Saito merely took another draw on his cigarette.
“Oi, no need to be all rude now,” Cho replied with a drawl.“Anyway, I could say the same thing about you. I mean, at least I got a job and a reason to be followin’ Fujita around. Can’t say the same for you,though.”
“First of all, hefollowed me,” Sano spat.
“That ain’t how it looked from over here.”
The heavy sigh which fell from Saito went ignored.

i don’t really have one but i like this imagery of saito waking up from Early Rise:
Rims of dark lashes cracked like the breaking of dawn. As if synonymous in nature, the soft amber glow stretching along the horizon mirrored irises slowly meeting the darkness of the bedroom—and then it was morning.
50. Weirdest story idea you’ve ever had.
...the fighter pilot au, and i’ll just leave it at that. wait, no i won’t. imagine the shinsengumi in flight suits, like a frickin squadron of macross-style pilots. i’ll never write it but dAMNNN if i could draw!!!
