IDEA: Like in our current plot, Sebastian being summoned by a cult but immediately disliking the cult and choosing the remaining kid they'd been using for the sake of summoning him, and killing the cult on his behalf - PAST DEMON ALSO disliked whichever skeevy humans summoned him, maybe even including Modri's own master he so respected and loved, and killed all of them, and NOW he sees MODRI as worthy of a contract.

Anyway this new chapter? This changes nothing really. Sebastian and Modri were still a thing. There's still many many universes modern or otherwise where they fucked.
