Kuro’s ears were at a lower angle, and his tail twitched in irritation. He couldn’t find anything to say back to the other male, and it frustrated him; as he liked to always have the last word and win. 

“You...just...ugh...forget it!” Brushing away the other’s tail that had been brushing on his face, he sat down. A flush was on his face from getting so worked up, and although he didn’t want to admit it, a bit of excitement. 

Grumbling, he looked away. Maybe he was getting a bit too worked up. But at this point, he didn’t really care.

“I paid you for a dance, not to make me feel more upset than I already am. So just get over here and get it over with.”

It was an ordinary day hanging out with his roommate and friend. They agreed on a movie to watch, and he’d been tasked with taking care of the snacks. Things had been going okay, and he’d left the kitchen for a moment.

The smell hit his nose, and he swore, making a fast pace into the kitchen. He’d one again managed to mess up making something that should be simple. He opened the microwave, and a cloud of smoke swirled out. 

He’d burned the popcorn. 

Kuro coughed, waving the smoke away from his face. His eyes and nose burned, and he pinched his nose to prevent breathing in any more smoke. He quickly disposed of the burned popcorn bag, and opened the window to air the kitchen out. By now he was sure Ryuu would come in any minute because of the smell.

In his drunken mind, it had been the perfect plan. Climb up, sneak in, grab some interesting things, then get back out again. He’d crept into the yard, then climbed the house using the sharper nails he’d made appear and the gutter pipe. There was an open window on a upper floor, and he figured he’d get in from there. He’d swayed a few times due to being drunk, but managed to hold on. A problem arose, however. 

The window was a bit to far for him to grab onto from where he perched on the side of the house. So a not so bright idea came to mind. I’m a...cat. A...cat. I can...I can do this!  

Next thing he knew, he was making a leap of faith. He missed the window by a bit however, and flailed before managing to grab onto the ledge before he could fall. He dug his sharpened nails into the sill and held on for dear life. 

“Shit. Shit. Shit.” he swore. This...may...may not be good...

Starter for @i-detest-violence-dammit

Kuro had been bored. For once he had a break, but no clue what to do. So he decided to go out in his cat form. Sometimes the cats had interesting information or stories to tell. It had all been going well, until he’d been approached by some not so nice creatures. Long story short, he’d run as fast he could out of there. He didn’t dare change back because he didn’t want them seeing his face and recognize him if the found him again later. 

They chased him for a while. Soon he was running out of energy. He’d managed to lose them, but at a price. He miscalculated a jump, and tumbled down a hill. is cat reflexes did kick in but his legs had gotten tangled in some old cord. It made him immobile and thus he rolled down the hill; hitting his head and injuring one of his legs. Feeling dizzy, it took a moment for him to recover enough to try and get the ropes off of him. 

There was a pain in one of his legs, and he winced when he moved the rope. He tried, but couldn’t manage to get he ropes off of him. What was worse was that there was someone else in the alleyway that had spotted him. He couldn’t change back, because then the stranger would find out what he really was. Or possibly react in a way that was harmful to him. 

He did the best thing he could think of. Putting on his best pleading cat face, he meowed at the man. Hopefully he’d help him out of the rope.

It was an odd coincidence. Every time the time came for their dorm weekly gatherings to watch something on the big tv, he always ended up sitting next to the same guy. At first he didn’t really care about it too much, but now he found it kind of amusing. H’ed never really spoken to him, but figured it wouldn’t hurt to do so the moment. Perhaps he’d find it an amusing coincidence as well.

“What coincidence that you always end up sitting right next to me.” he said, taking his eyes off the television screen in front of them to look at him. “You’re not doing it on purpose, are you?” he added after a bit of a joke.

Everything was just about prepared for their movie night. They had their snacks and drinks, and sat in the living room, the movie about to start. Kuro took another cheese puff from the bag he was holding, and ate it while looking at the screen. He wondered if the movie would really be scary, or if it would just be more of a thriller type. Either way he was happy to be spending some time away from his place with a friend. 

“Hey, Elias...” he said, looking up at him from his spot on a cushion on the floor. “If you get too scared and need to hold my hand, let me know. I won’t judge. Well, not too harshly.” he teased, with a bit of a smirk on his face.

Right now he wished he wasn’t in this mess. In his thoughts, he wondered if he should have just stayed home and dealt with what had been hurting him so much. Now he was mentally kicking himself, and even though he knew there was nothing he could do to change it, he could not help but tear himself down. This wasn’t what he wanted; being here, hands and feet chained, and forcefully being carried into this building that he had some sort idea what it was used for. 

As the men held him, he had his head down, not wanting to make any eye contact with anyone. Once he’d realized a bit after he was first captured that it was useless to try and escape or resist them, he’d stopped struggling or fighting. It was a waste of energy to do so anyway. However, he would try an escape any chance he got in the future, and wasn't about to give up completely. He refused to become anyone’s toy, and the thought of possibly being sold to some old, fat, abusive, and greasy guy made him want to throw up.

They came to stop in front of a man, the men holding him speaking to him, but Kuro didn’t look at him, or pay much attention to what was being said. There were others around in the building, but he didn’t pay them any mind either.
