omg I completely agree with everything you're saying! Like haters don't make sense 98% of them are super hypercritical. Like all characters have done annoying/bad things, just cause a character you don't like does it doesn't make it 1247823678 times worse. And like you send characters are WRITTEN, so I find it stupid when someone makes a huge deal out of something a character did when the writers probably didn't mean it that way at all
Thank goodness somebody sees it the way I see it and is equally annoyed by it!
Like, another example is Kurt's attitude in Blame It On the Alcohol towards Blaine's anxieties about his sexuality. Yes, Kurt comes off as being a little bi-phobic in that episode, but that doesn't mean that that's how Glee and the writers want to present the issue as a whole. The jokes about Brittany being 'bilingual', 'bicorn', etc are just that - jokes. That's the point. It doesn't in any way reflect the whole view of that particular subject that Glee want to project.
