Peek-A-Boo!

Ok tbh it’s pretty obvious which is my favourite out of the Donkey Kong Country series. To put it simply, I love DKC 2, and I especially enjoy the whole pirate aesthetic of the enemies (definitely not because I used to have a hyperfixation on pirates and pirates of penzance is my favourite musical). I have been a bit liberal with some of the kremling designs here, one of them being the multiple eyes near Kloak (I got annoyed with the open spaces so I resorted to that as a solution lmao). Anyways, after 5 days I have completed this artwork! Huzzah!

Ok so this guy is Prudy Kong (before you come at me, yeah I know 'prudy' isn't a real word but tbh it stuck with me since he's a prude so we roll with it), he's this Kong ghost from the 19th century (Victorian-era-esque) who used to be a grand industrialist but now, as a dead ape, just haunts random business men and berates them for "not doing it the proper way like a true industry gentleman." Basically think Cranky Kong but for crappy capitalists. He used to annoy Bluster Kong (from the cartoon series) but now he annoys Void Kong lol. Why he does this, idk tbh I haven't thought that far.

Oh yeah he's a massive hypocrite also lmao.

Tbh I originally had some sort of big piece planned but I never got to really finish it and I haven't posted art for a while so here is some compensation.

DKC2 oc Karpus!!! Uhh retired veteran who's british-coded and friends with Klubba (borderline queerplatonic?? Idk maybe 💔)

K. rool and DKC3 oc Kaput. Kinda a stupid backstory thing and yeah their brain is made out of uncooked spaghetti-o's mixed using K. Rool's wife's wooden spoon (no wonder they're a failed experiment bruh 🥀).

Also humanised Klinger because yeah.
