So, fate wanted this fan art to be done the same day of the Switch 2 Announcement, and from the teaser of the new Mario Kart game, it seems DK will use his movie's design now ? Neat.

Anyway, with the remaster of Country Returns HD, you can basically play every DK Country on the Switch now. Kinda amazing, to be honest.

Tropical Freeze is still the best of the bunch, but you got the idea.

Wrinkly Kong Is A Gamer

In Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble, we get to see one of many hobbies Wrinkly Kong has which is gaming. She can be seen playing an N64 with the theme for Peach's Castle playing in the background telling us she is playing Super Mario 64.

Now while the GBA Donkey Kong Country 3 did change this to be Wrinkly's Retreat instead, the gamer aspect is likely still true bit about her. Since she is playing SM64, this can tell us DKC3 takes place after the events of Super Mario 64, said events would have been made into an in-universe game.

But yeah all that being said, Wrinkly Kong at the end of the day is a gamer. Written by Eris the Lorekeeper
