Got up close with a longanisa + salted egg + pako over lunch at #KusinaLuntian. Still so good. Damn, forgot 2 important things when eating at this place: 1. A hand sanitizer (you eat with your hands over banana leaves), and 2. a change for 1k (they literally would rather not serve you than give away their change. #baler #itsmorefuninthephilippines (at Kusina Luntian)
Trees, falls and food. The “Millenium” Tree is the largest balete tree in Asia and is said to be over 600 years old. a 30-minute trek from the base, the Ditumabo Mother Falls is part of a series of waterfalls that help power a hydroelectric damn in the area. And while there were no utensils at Kusina Luntian, they surely had the best liempo I’ve ever tasted.
