It’s Kuspuk Week 2022! I did Toph for Day 2: Non-Water Tribe Character in a Kuspuk. Original picture under the cut

I realized I wasn’t going to finish this piece if I waited, so I grabbed what pens I had on me and did Toph in negative. I’ll admit I also added some color later via the phone. It’s midterms week so hopefully I’ll have some less rushed pieces to present after they end lol.

Kuspuk Week 2022: Day 3. Here’s Jet being tossed in a game called Nalukataq!

The two pictures above are what I used to match for color? I’m kind of afraid that the first picture has too much blue, but it’s done now. I tried to match the orange and thought I did, but it turned out a lot lighter than I remembered. However, I think it serves as a decent contrast so I’m satisfied lol.

The girl with the purple Kuspuk inspired the pattern on the Jet’s main body. I was trying to go for flowers but they look awfully small. So I added some more purple/flowers to the rest of his outfit! I can’t see Jet saying no to some good clothes because they have flowers. The pocket and ribbon/sleeve design was inspired by the two guys in the middle. And on the right are the mukluks that inspired me! I didn’t use so many patterns though, maybe next time.

I couldn’t draw Jet w/o his wheat, so I think he has a couple stashed away for emergency chewing. I was not able to capture his glorious eyebrows RIP.

This picture was so kickass. Idk if the tossed dude was trying to touch that seagull/feed it, or if it divebombed him, but damn! I borrowed his position, but unfortunately not his expression. I really tried to draw Jet with such surprise/joy, but he quickly morphed into Someone Else. Partly, I think I need to improve somewhat on consistent face depictions, but also it’s hard to be accurate when you’re drawing small.

Lastly, the color of his ribbons and the flowers were inspired by this image. I just love pictures of polar bears hanging out in flowers. And I kind of feel like Jet would respect Polar Bears/Dogs. They’re hunters, quite effective fighters, survivors and very dedicated to their families.

Here’s the picture unedited. Maybe just pretend he’s playing with Amongus?
