WELL, THIS WASN’T the same as the convenience store he worked at back in chiba, but it was certainly... nice, in a strange way. the absence of fresh produce was a first, although he could no longer harass the manager to give him some scraps of leftovers, be it a slab of meat or vegetables. oh well. he just needed to focus on building up his relationships here. now, the question was: how long would it take for him to get settled?

he couldn’t find anyone else in this particular aisle to help, so he just settled with the emerald-eyed female, who, in his opinion, looked TOTALLY unapproachable. the deity merely gave her a nonchalant nod.
