Ryuu no Hanawazurai

Favorite characters were definitely Shakuya and Rushin. I ship them so hard XD. When I first met Rushin, I didn't like him. He was kind of... not himself (?) in a way. But after a while, when he realized a bunch of things and started to act on his feelings a bit more, I was like, "Yeah, he's cool." I definitely knew that I wasn't gonna ship Shakuya with Kuwan, he was way too old for her for one thing, and he was also missing an eye (which I believe has a back story that I will not get into for spoiler purposes). While on the other hand, Rushin was nice and cared for Shakuya... sure he had issues but that doesn't mean it should get in the way of who he cares for.

I started this series a long time ago, and I had to wait for the updates and everything. In the end, it was totally worth it. I really like the series and the right after, I couldn't draw anything but those flowers on Shakuya's hands. I really liked that Shakuya is a very honest person at the end and that Kuwan and Rushin would both do anything for her.

I would totally recommend reading it, its got a good mix of action and romance. There's also small side- stories that go on with the main plot so that its not just focused on the main characters all the time. The series is also finished now so you don't have to worry about updates or missing chapters and the like.
