Up on the Rooftop ;; Nana&Juli
Juliane stood next to the railing of the balcony, eyes flitting between the edge of the roof just a few feet above her and the very far, very hard looking concrete several miles below her. Though that might be a little bit of an overstatement. It certainly felt as though the ground were at least ten years below her, but really, a fall from this height would only result in a few injuries. Broken bones. Splattered...splattered brains...
Get your head in the game, Alfieri. Juli shook her head and averted her gaze from the long drop, instead turning it to her companion. It had been her idea, after all, to do this, and Nana was just along for the ride. That and Juliane really didn't want to get stuck up on the roof with no one to save her.
"Alright, unnie," she finally chirped, clapping her hands together once. "I don't know how to do this, but I'm sure it'll be easy. Easy and safe. Totally safe and easy." Both lies. They sounded hollow even to Juliane, but she'd keep repeating them to make herself feel better. "My life is in your hands, so don't fuck it up." No pressure or anything.
