Sam could somehow understand her hesitation. After all, he was the first one to show her kindness in a long time. He sighed a bit, but nodded. “It’s alright. We don’t have to do this right now, but let me just say this..” He said, gently placing his hand on her shoulder. “You desperately need new clothes. And you know i’m definitely up for doing this. It’s going to get cold soon and you can’t go around in the winter with these.” He said, gesturing to her clothes.
Kveta stood in front of the Walmart with her arms crossed over her chest. She was hesitant to even look at the building. She didn’t like to be in anyone’s debt. Much less someone buying her a whole new wardrobe. Golden hues glanced over at the man who was almost a foot and a half taller than she was. She bit down on her bottom lip.
“Fine. One ou’fit.” She didn’t need a whole bunch of new clothes. Not when she didn’t even have a way to carry them around. Kveta refused to be one of those homeless people who had to carry a black plastic bag with their belongings in it.
