In 2017 I purchased a set of @hedwheels #ardennes from @kylesbikes for my @ride_bmc #roadmachine thinking that they would be a stepping stone to a nicer set of wheels. Little did I realize that six cycling seasons later I would still have the original set of wheels. That changed on Saturday March twelfth however as I was riding home from a group ride. A car hit and damaged my front wheel beyond repair. Thankfully I had purchased a set of Hed Emporia #Emporia gravel wheels with my tax refund. So I put my gravel wheels on for @endscycling #kwbr2022 . I had purchased the replacement Ardennes(front wheel) it just hadn’t arrived yet in time for the ride. I am VERY THANKFUL for how solidly built my Ardennes are. I’m also grateful for my local bike shop in Ankeny, Iowa who went above and beyond in trying their hardest to get my wheel to me in time for the ride! I knew God was going to throw some challenges at me during this internship, but I wasn’t expecting this one!
