he’s starving. he stupidly skipped lunch in favour of squeezing more ice time after a heavy three hours lecture but now he’s drained both mentally and physically. cue him at the hansel and gretel parlour after a four course dinner elsewhere, his mouth itching for some good ole chocolate dessert.

on his journey to the sweets parlour, he had brainstormed what dessert he should have today. he reached the point where he had visited the parlour’s social media pages to see what their latest offerings were. one of the pinned posts was the hot selling chocolate croissants that he had heard from his friends were to die for.

so with bright eyes and anticipating hands clasped around his phone with his kakaopay app open ready for payment, he quietly waits in line for his turn. ‘chocolate croissant, chocolate croissant, imma get that chocolate croissant todayyyy,’ he chants in his head, focusing on the last piece of chocolate croissant left on the display.

“hi, can i get the chocolate--” he starts before being cut off abruptly.

what's the one little thing people would be surprised to know you like? (besides chocolate croissant, of course)

he tries. he really tries not to show his annoyance. after all, he’s the ice prince, master of pokerfaces. but it’s jaemin so of course, he snaps. “first of all, you suck for trying to take my chocolate croissant.”

“secondly, to answer your question, i like to be the small spoon when cuddling. i don't know why people assume i like to be the big spoon just because i'm tall,” kiyong replies with an angry pout. 

don’t say it, don’t say it don’t say it-- “i also like constructing miniature houses and furniture during my free time. i find it calming but don’t recommend the hobby as mini-sized items are even more expensive than the real-sized ones... but then you’re the rich boy, why am i even warning you..” he rolls his eyes as he huffs.

** Band Aid **

One thing to know about Lee Jinseok was that he was almost always prepared for anything. Being a vet student, and just generally cautious and caring, he seemed to always be prepared for any kind of first aid emergency. His backpack he always carried with him came stocked with everything but the kitchen sink (though one wouldn’t be surprised if he actually had a kitchen sink in there somewhere). If someone needed a snack, a pencil, a band aid, a hair tie or whatever then he was almost certain to have it.

Just like today. His bag came with a fresh pack of band aids after having used the last one the day before after he scratched himself during his study. He often got papercuts from his reading too so it was always nice to have them handy. Jinseok was walking through the campus when he stumbled upon someone. At first he planned to just keep walking but there was something that he spotted about the stranger that Jinseok just couldn’t ignore.
