@kwuisoo - care package
it is common knowledge amongst those who personally know the choi family that the parents are very welcoming to strangers and anyone their children makes friends with. minho would often come home with a bunch of his teammates tagging along for the good food and free advice from the wise ex professional football player dad and sports science doctor mum. many had commented how lucky minho was to have not only one but both parents to be involved in the sport to a professional degree that he didn’t even have to attend the footballing academy when he had his own personal trainers for parents.
as he grew up and started progressing through his career, he would often return home to new faces that belonged to people who his parents had unofficially taken under their wing. uisoo was one of them, he soon discovered when he visited korea again for holidays, though he never really knew how the younger managed to come into contact with his parents but hey, if his mother insists that he’d take care of the other, he’ll do it. or else he’d have to suffer through the daily lecture of her weird philosophy that combined confucianism, marxism and nordic socialism (perks of having a nerd of a mum).
hence why he was visiting the younger male at his workplace with a big parcel in hand. his mum was currently stationed in geneva for some sort of women’s leadership in sports training programme so she had sent him, uisoo and others - honestly umma i thought i was too nice - a care package.
“i honestly wonder if i’m actually my parents’ child,” minho starts, about to go into one of his usual rants. he raises the parcel and shakes it to emphasise the size, “like you got a bigger care package than me! what is this injustice? where’s the equality marx promised?”
