Around the time Kakashi arrived at the scene, the removers were already gone. The only indication of the grueling scene that had occured not hours ago was the stench of blood and the eerie silence that had manifested inside the room.

Because he stands at a decent height as is, he doesn't often run into others that are taller than him—and when he does, it's usually not by much, so it's not very unsettling to him in the slightest.

He might wonder for a moment what their family line is (if they aren't obviously an Akimichi, that is), but doesn't give it much thought aside from that.

When interacting with those who are shorter than him, his behaviour differs from the former in that he sometimes isn't sure whether to tip his head down to look at them, or (if he gets the feeling that they might take offense to quite literally being looked down on) if he ought to lower himself to their level, either by suggesting that he and the other person sit down, or whatever other options are available at that moment.

(It's a common problem when speaking to the current Hokage, Tsunade, as she's not the tallest person around.)

Even if his clan was one that fell under “the curse of hatred” often, his mother was very kind to him and he loved her dearly. 

Casting an unsure look at Kagami, as if to question whether or not the response was a mocking, sarcastic one, he frowned.

"...To a point." he admitted after a moment. "Though perhaps not as much as you care for yours. I do not particularly dislike anyone from my clan... but I don't know them well enough to say much else. Mother never saw much point in socializing with them if the matters at hand weren't urgent."
